Couples Therapy
Couple therapy
I bring the same core values and therapeutic approach to my work with couples, while also focusing on the unique dynamics that arise in close relationships. My goal is to help partners better understand not only themselves but also each other, fostering deeper empathy and connection.
In couples therapy, I supports partners to explore the patterns that underlie their challenges—often shaped by past experiences, emotional differences, or unmet needs. By identifying these patterns together, couples can develop a shared understanding of their difficulties and move away from blame toward mutual accountability and collaboration.
Therapy involves a balanced focus on acceptance and change: helping each partner take responsibility for their own unhelpful behaviours, while also learning to understand and accept one another’s emotional responses. I provide practical tools to support healthy communication, improve emotional regulation, and manage conflict more constructively.
Sessions are a safe space to reflect, learn, and practice new ways of relating. Ultimately, the work is about building a more secure and resilient connection—one where both partners feel heard, understood, and equipped to navigate life’s inevitable challenges together.
